January is International Child Friendly Divorce Month - Meet Rosalind Sedacca

Meet Rosalind Sedacca - Founder of the the Child-Centered Divorce Network.  She shares her own personal story which inspired her to help others.  She specializes in helping parents understand what their children may be experiencing as a consequence of divorce.

She tells her story as a single parent and reveals common mistakes for families to avoid if they find themselves on this path.

She encourages parents to communicate what she sees as the six (6) MOST IMPORTANT messages during a divorce: 

THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
YOU ARE AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN SAFE.
MOM AND DAD WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR PARENTS.
MOM AND DAD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
THIS IS ABOUT CHANGE, NOT ABOUT BLAME.
THINGS WILL WORK OUT OKAY.
